Since I used my favourite Zoe Karssen T-shirt yesterdays post i thought i should share i little bit about the brand i love so much! Formed in 2010 by a Dutch couple, Zoe Karssen make the best slogan Tees I've seen. Much cooler and chicer than their Wildfox equivalent, ZK still seems to be flying under the radar but not for long.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm a sucker for a white Tee, my wardrobe is full of them- its my go to look for lazy days. I just love the easy cool about a slouchy Tee or Vest with skinny jeans and pumps. TheT-shirts are so well cut; over size with a deep scoop neckline and the softest jersey I've ever felt, effortless to throw on but so glam too. Printed with quirky prints and tongue in cheek slogans, these are designs with a sense of humour. Wear with mega sunglasses, bed hair, and a smirk.

Soft Focus
I feel as if recently I've been making lots of empty promises in terms of this blog but its all about to change! I'm back on track as of now fingers crossed as I've had some news to spur me into action... As of two days ago I've been offered an interview for Westminster Fashion Buying. I know its only a small step forward but i'm very excited. If its good enough for Christopher Bailey (Burberry) its good enough for me!
Ive chosen pink as the theme for my first true new years post. Pink to make the boys wink, and pink because i want to see life through rose tinted glasses for the moment!

Blazer- eBay (ASOS), T-shirt- Zoe Karssen, Ring- Primark, Chain- Accessorize.
I was so excited for this blazer to arrive in the post that i put it on straight away, i snapped it up for £12.75 a fraction of its original £70 and its Silk too. I find it really hard to get a well fitting jacket as having a long body and very narrow shoulders, most styles just tend to make look like I'm a child playing dress up. This one i think is pretty good. Ive been wanting something pink for a while now too, at first i was looking for something a little brighter but this is much more wearable. For work now i'll pair it with slouchy white Tees and my leather trousers and as it gets into spring wear it as a suit with pink cigarette pants. My T-shirt is Zoe Karssen, a dutch label I've been championing for a while now. Its all quirky kitsch slogan Tees made of the softest jersey you can imagine. This Bat T-shirt is one of the original collections but i treated myself to a grey 'No Love Lost' motto one at New Year. My Jewellery is all cheap and cheerful high street, the chain is going brassy now but i can't bring myself to replace it, the Ring reminds me of House of Harlow a lot.
The Roses in the top picture i bought whilst passing through M&S on the way home for work, they're beautiful. Palest pink and huge blooms, they were also possibly the greatest bargain I've ever had. 10p reduced from £15 because it was the end of the day i felt so smug walking home with my gorgeous bouquet.
For the next few weeks I'm really going to get my head down, get posting some more and prepare for my interview. No doubt ill have endless wardrobe dilemmas in the run up, so i'll keep you posted!

Resolutions
This is my first post in nearly a month! I can't seem to believe how time has gone by recently, its all been a big hectic christmas sale blur, and i am exhausted. This time of year also seems to leave me completely without inspiration too. Although to say that Christmas hasn't felt like Christmas, i do have lots of exciting things to look forward to over the next few months!
I finally got my applications to go to university in! As of September 2012 i should officially be a (mature ahem) student again! All the courses I've looked at are London based for Fashion Buying and Management. Im scared to talk too much about it for fear of jinxing it as i want to leave so much!
Its not to say that i haven't enjoyed my career so far, I've loved it, but I've got as much out of it as i can. Im really glad to think that this January sale is that last one ill have to do for a while.... The sales have been hectic/horrendous, i don't know which describe it better, 7am start on Boxing Day? No thank you Ma'am! Im so happy that we've taken the most money we ever have at Christmas, but the shelves are bare now, and each minute is dragging by. Roll on New Season please.
Come February I've booked two weeks off work with the Boy, hopefully for a little Southern adventure, i have grand plans of gate crashing (or at least watching from a distance) London Fashion Week. All i want to do is shop. Im trying to get every penny i have together for a mass wardrobe revamp ready for summer. Top of my Wishlist so far, Hawiian Print Shirts from Equipment, Silk Pyjama Trousers and Drop Waist Dresses! Very Great Gatsby.
Anyhow, once I've had time for a good few days sleep I'm sure I'll have my motivation back and will get some colour on these pages! Ive wanted to try my hand with Tumblr for a while, just as a sort of inspiration/ mood board and i hope to get that going soon. What a boring post!
